I got pregnant at 13.

My daughter was born that year in November after my 14th birthday.

Her father doesn't talk to her any more.

I know having sex at that age is wrong. But when my 2, nearly 3, year old daughter tells me she loves me randomly I smile and think to my self how can she be a mistake.

My boyfriend was eager to meet my Mom, despite my various protests.

I pulled into the parking lot of the cemetery where she's buried, expecting him to completely freak out.

When we approached her grave, he sat down, said hello, and talked with her for an hour about how lucky he was to have me. LGMH

I work at a vacation bible school program in my parish.

Today, I was watching the children play when I noticed a 7 year old girl struggling to run.

It turns out she has a muscular disorder that affects her legs, and I didn't even realize it because she still always smiles.

Her strength GMH.

My little sister suffered brain damage as an infant and had to be evaluated before going to school.

One of the questions she was asked was "If you could have anything in the world, what would you want?"

My 6 year old sister said "Nothing, I already have everything I want."

Today me and my sister were playing and she told me to lay down and close my eyes.

When I did she said, "Wake up Sleeping Beauty."

And gave me a kiss on my cheek.

I have been dealing with self esteem problems for a while, today I actually felt beautiful because of my sister, her innocence GMH.

I was shopping one day.

A little boy, 3 years old, walked up to me and told me I was one of the prettiest girls he'd ever seen, and that I was only one of them because all girls are beautiful.

His Grandfather told me he was always doing this, without being prompted.
